We take pride in producing the best quality oysters we can, and deliver them to our customers in the cleanest, freshest condition. We grow about 2,000,000 oysters per year and sell directly to restaurants, wholesalers and supermarket chains including Superquinn in Ireland.

We wash, purify and pack our oysters in a modern and clean premises. This is done under a HACCP system approved and regularly inspected by the Dept. of Marines/Sea-Fisheries protection Authority. ![]() We have a very easygoing hard-working team here of 3 lovely ladies who mainly pack th e oysters that you receive, they also grade the oysters and sometimes make tasty treats for our well-earned tea breaks. ![]() Also 4 men who do all the hard dirty work, including Kian (‘the boss’), then we have his wife Mary who does the bookwork, Charm (sister), who does the sales and also sometimes helps with the hard work (to keep trim!), and then we have Peter(father) who started this whole ‘carry-on’ in the first place ~ he takes it easy now and does some deliveries but if you look out on the Lough you will no doubt see him windsurfing. ![]() The rest of the Louet-Feisser family have worked on the farm for the best part of their childhood, suppose you could say they got some sense…very hard work. And just to say ‘yes’ we think oysters are an aphrodisiac (we’ve had reports) and as a result the Louet-Feisser family doubled over night from 3 to 6 children having had triplets and because of this and oysters being ‘the food of love’ Carlingford Oyster Company always do a special promotion each year on the oysters for Valentines!
